Don’t Drink … Gamble!

If you like to have a beer every now and then, keep your money out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your pocketbook, your money belt, and leave all cash, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Take only the money you anticipate to spend on alcohol, tipping and whatever pocket change you expect to throw away and keep the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You may well experience a profit following a intoxicated night out with your friends and be lucky sufficiently to hook a marathon toss at a smokin craps table. Don’t forget that account because it is as brief as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and bet. The pair simply do not mix.

Leaving your moolah out of the casino might be a tiny bit drastic, but preventative measures for drastic behavior is essential. If you bet to succeed, then do not drink and play. If you like to throw away your money nary a concern, then drink all the gratuitous booze your stomach can handle, but do not pack credit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of following squanderings after your drunken self loses everything!

Allow me to carry this one step more. do not consume alcohol and then head on to the internet to play in your best-liked casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my condo, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink alcohol and gamble.

Why? Even though I don’t drink to excess, when I drink, it’s absolutely adequate to blur my common sense. I bet, so I do not drink when betting. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. When mixed, both create a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
