Do Not Drink … Play!

If you like to have a cocktail every so often, keep your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your pocketbook, your wallet, and leave all cash, charge cards and checks back at the hotel. Grab whatever cash you intend to spend on beverages, tips and few dollars you expect to throw away and keep the rest behind.

Pessimistic? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You might have a win after a drunken evening out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute roll at a on fire craps game. Hang on to that story seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you always consume alcohol and bet. These activities just do not mix.

Leaving your cash out of the casino is a tiny bit drastic, but defensive measures for drastic actions is essential. If you bet to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and play. If you like to toss away your cash nary a worry, then consume all the gratis alcohol your stomach can handle, but don’t carry charge cards and checks to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your drunk as a skunk head squanders all the cash!

Permit me to take this one step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then hop on to the internet to bet in your favorite internet casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my condo, however considering that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.

How come? Even though I do not consume alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is clearly sufficient to blur my common sense. I gamble, so I do not drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not wager when you do. Both make for a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
